A good doctor and the importance of a good comprehensive cultural education

The main objective of this bibliographic revision is to show the importance of a good comprehensive education in doctor´s training process to facilitate doctor- patient communication. To achieve this objective a bibliographic review was carried out in 15 updated studies of the last five years and the analysis of the information was carried out. It showed its value to propagate the scientific knowledge and to improve the professional practice. At the end of this work, it was concluded that it is really important for doctors to know patient's culture and respect it, because it can reduce health disparities and helps to improve access to high-quality health care. Multiple researches reported that cultural competency is essential to ensure healthcare for all. It is very important to develop proper health policy and practice. It can be stated after finishing this work that multicultural environment of Latin American School of Medicine influences positively on students´ comprehensive education.Keywords: comprehensive education, communication, good doctor, patient.
